New hobby

Well ladies I have started a new hobby and I am not to bad at it . I have started to make jewelry more earrings then anything but once I get that down I will extend to bracelets , necklaces etc..   I plan on selling my products when I go to Mexico . My hubby has made a few as well he need to have a bit more Patience but he is getting the hang of it. 

I have been looking for a fun hobby I could make some money from and I thought about my Grandpa he used to make rosary's and taught me how to do it so I took the skills he showed me and put it to use . It feels like he is with me when I make every pair of earrings.

my caring cross review

My caring cross is a Beautiful cross made by hand out of olive wood in the great land of Bethlehem.

Here is a bit of back ground of how they got started

I am not one to carry a cross around with me but I did find it to fit nicely in the palm of my hand. A helping hand to all my blogger friends

The Noblo umbrella buddy review

So when I received the noblo umbrella buddy I thought ok so it is just a cloth bag you fill with sand to weigh down your umbrella . So I started thinking what else can it be used for then I thought well it is a bag so why not use it to carry your things in to the beach like your towel, lotion, etc. ( things you take out anyway ) then fill the bag with sand and attach to your umbrella when the day is over empty the sand and put your things back in .

The only part I don't like about this product is the price I myself wouldn't pay $15 for a cloth bag . If it had more uses maybe but this one not so much.

Three cups is a  great book that teaches kids how to manage money in an enjoyable way. In this book a boy receives three cups and is told that one is for Saving , one for spending and one for giving with these cups he was also given an allowance.

This book is a great way of showing kids to be thankful for what they have and showing that it is better to earn what you have and not just expect it. Its also teaches kids to share with the less fortunate . I highly recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to teach there child how to be smart with money from a young age this lesson will follow them into adulthood and pass to their children.

Omg I can not believe it is only 49 days away from Christmas where did the year go ? Even though it had been a great year i just feel I haven't gotten anything accomplished I had hoped to have all my hubby's img. paper work done and gone by now but we are only a few steps away from no more worries . I have been falling behind in so much now that I have a full time job but the money has helped so much and it made me feel better to take some of the stress off of my amazing husband.

This past few weeks I have been getting back on track it hasn't been easy but it is getting done Thank God . When I was accepted to review these very cute holiday cards from Mixbook I was so excited. Mixbook offers a great verity of all different kinds of beautiful cards to choose from for all occasions.

I decided on the snowy script what I liked most about it is you can move a few things around like on mine I spread out the snow flakes a bit so that they weren't all on one side. I chose my picture and fitted it everything thing was easy to do. I used this to get down to my roots wile coloring my hair and I have to say it did get the color deep down to the roots and helps my color to look more natural . The only problem I had with this product was wile cleaning it the color got stuck in the corners of this top I had to leave water in it and shake it hard in order to get it all out.

Once a month a group of us in my neighborhood get together for book club. Each month the hostess picks a book for the group to read and has everyone over to her house to discuss the book. To help out, I always take a dish to share. I like to make something different each time, something everyone might not normally try. I have Blue Legs

I got a new pair of jeans and they have turned my legs blue my kids asked what happened and I said I was an alien. Getting back on Track

As some of you may have noticed I have not been writing as much as I was a few months ago. Well let me tell you what has been going on in my life. First I started home schooling my boys then about a month after starting that I found a new job and I work 3rd shift apart from doing this new job I am still selling Avon. so and you can see that leaves me very little time to write. That is why I am going to get more organized and make more time for my blog because I  love writing and it is my me time and my outlet .


Every person should have an outlet to help get away from all the stresses of life and writing is mine well at least one of mine ( wink wink ) ; ) ...

So from now on I plan to write at least three times a week and make more time for my blogging .

omg where did it go

where has this year gone it seems like last month was April and "boom" now we are in the middle of September what the hell happened in between.  You know this is not the first time this year that I feel like it is all going by way to fast all through out the year I have felt this way and I am not the only one so many people I have spoken to have felt the same way.  I think the world is playing a joke on all of us by speeding up then slowing down once a month or so, so we can look around and say wait what just happened .


The worst part about feeling like the year is going by way to fast is the fact that you think about what you have accomplished this year and you don't like your results. But I guess for some people it could be the other way around and looking back you say "wow" I did all that and it is only September damn time well spent.


Well maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself I did do a few good things so far like : starting this blog , starting a full time job, starting homeschooling my boys and even increased my Avon business. I only wish I  had the time to explore Alaska more we went hiking twice this year and have only gone an hour outside of Anchorage sigh but I guess we have many  more years to see everything . The only way I am moving from Alaska Is if we move to Mexico but other then that  my butt is staying in this cold and majestic place .
